CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

A session to tune in with listening touch, addressing the craniosacral fluid, the tissues, organs, and nervous system. In this work we assess and release restrictions in your system due to physical, emotional or spiritual distress. With a focus on matching the tone of the body, craniosacral therapy helps create space for unfolding and unwinding. This gentle work supports the body’s innate ability to heal and restore balance. This profound and important work is for everyone - babies included! Consistency over a period of several sessions allows the body to remain in a state of ease and balance, promoting health and vitality.

ABDOMINAL MASSAGE

& BODYWORK

A session tending the whole body through the focus of abdominal massage. The foundation of this work is listening through craniosacral therapy and a return to the root - the belly and the pelvic bowl. Gentle external manipulation is used to help to reposition internal organs of the digestive and reproductive system. Tending to your physical tissue, as well as your emotional and energetic stories, helps create healthy and optimal flow. We work with blood, lymph, nerve and energy movement to restore holistic vitality. For women, alignment & support of the womb is central to this work. Each session builds upon the next, working into jaw and neck, down into the feet and wherever else the body leads.

CLOSING OF THE BONES

A session rooted in ceremony, following the crossing of a threshold in one’s life — most notably the birth of a child — this is a ritual to bring all parts of yourself home to the present. This offering includes craniosacral work, gentle bodywork & abdominal massage, an energetic closing, belly binding with natural fiber cloth, warming tea and foot bath. This is a time to remember and to align with your path moving forward. This is a deeply restorative ritual encouraging a return to yourself. Around 40 days postpartum is a traditional time for mother’s to enter into this ceremony. But this may be offered at any point after life transition, a time of closing or loss - whether days or years down the road.
